Current Bible Class Offerings:

Bible classes are available for all ages starting from 1 year old and up. In addition to classes for school age children, we offer an extensive adult curriculum. Our current adult classes are listed below.

Class: Joshua, Judges and Ruth
Teacher: Mike Radcliff

Israel’s people have wandered for 40 years in the wilderness, and they are now ready to cross the Jordan to conquer the land God has promised them. Join with Mike as you travel with Joshua and the army as they invade the land taking over the major forts and cities of the Canaanites. The Israelites have God as their helper but all too often they forget it is Jehovah who has won the battles for them and make decisions for themselves. The study of Ruth is a wonderful story of a foreigner wanting to serve the God of her Mother in law, Naomi. The great grandmother of king David presents a wonderful story to remember even though you may have studied it before.

Class: Phillipians, 1 Thessalonians and 2Thessalonians
Teacher: David Green

Phillipians 2:5 says, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”

This is the Apostle’s plea to Christians for which he has a great amount of respect and love. A study of these three books will encourage each of us as we try from day to day to live the life that Christ would have of us. These brethren are trying hard to be as Christ-like as they can. It will be time well spent to study these books with David to help us grow in our service to the Lord.

Class: First Timothy, Second Timothy & Titus
Teacher: Larry Brock

These three books are written by the Apostle Paul to two evangelists who are younger than he and to whom he wants to share very helpful information and encouragement. 1st Timothy was written after Paul’s first imprisonment while 2nd Timothy was written during the second imprisonment. Paul surveys his life and looks forward to his death at the hands of the Romans so he can be with God. On the other hand he feels the need for his help in encouraging all the churches. Join with Larry as we discuss the organization of the church, how to refute false doctrine and live a devoted life to God.

Class: Christian Confidences
Teacher: John Baughn

The purpose of this class is to help find out what God has determined about you. What is your real value, and how is it measured? What criteria are used by God to determine your real value, and what is required of you to meet such criteria: Come join John in this adventure and quest to find a confidence that will make you unshakeable and strong in the face of the challenges of life. Come see what God has in store for you.

Class: The New Testament Church
Teacher: Gene Tharp

Join Gene in a great study of the spiritual body to which we belong, the church.  Renew your minds or learn for the first time more about the “body of Christ.” Special emphasis will be given to church organization, responsibilities of members, strengthening of the covenant each of us has made with Christ and other aspects of love each needs to be truly functioning members of Christ’s church.

Class: Developing Leadership in the Church
Teacher: Terry Lewis

Join Terry in a very interesting study how we all can grow and develop as children of God. Leadership roles in a variety or contexts will be explored. Roles as members, teachers, preachers, elders, deacons as well as the value of the good example that we all need to set before others. Consider taking this class, for we all do have leadership responsibilities along life’s pathway.
